The Park District currently has two open positions.

1. Part-Time Grounds Keeper
PART-TIME GROUNDSKEEPER
The Groundskeeper performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks to grounds, equipment, and facilities within parks. Including mowing, weeding, cleaning facilities and restrooms, snow removal, emptying trash cans. Performs required custodial tasks in and around buildings.
Starting pay is $11.60 per hour; normal schedule is 28 hours per week, but hours may vary.
Minimum requirements include graduation from a standard high school or equivalent, supplemented by responsible experience in janitorial, ground maintenance and/or landscaping experience.
Physical requirements include the ability to operate equipment and work outdoors in a variety of different weather climates. Able to perform modest to strenuous physical miscellaneous tasks. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Duties listed above are illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.
Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license that meets the Clermont County Park District’s insurance carrier guidelines. Employment will be contingent upon the completion of the following: driver’s license check, drug screen, and background check.

2. Seasonal Groundskeeper
SEASONAL GROUNDSKEEPER
The Groundskeeper performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks to grounds, equipment, and facilities within parks. Including mowing, weeding, cleaning facilities and restrooms, snow removal, emptying trash cans. Performs required custodial tasks in and around buildings.

Starting pay is $11.60 per hour; budgeted for 400 hours annually.
Minimum requirements include graduation from a standard high school or equivalent, supplemented by responsible experience in janitorial, ground maintenance and/or landscaping experience.
Physical requirements include the ability to operate equipment and work outdoors in a variety of different weather climates. Able to perform modest to strenuous physical miscellaneous tasks.
